Rennie’s House of Oxtail
Walking into the mock Tudor façade pub is akin to entering a time warp where few things have changed since the late Dutch-Malaysian owner Rennie Klassen opened the pub in the 1970s. Its old-school ambience: simple brick-and-timber interior complete with aged carpeting and an enviable collection of witty signs and old posters behind the padded bar makes Rennie’s an institution among PJ folks. Try the eponymous oxtail stew, enjoy a pint or two of draught beer and let Rennie’s regulars regale you with tales of their beloved PJ neighborhood.
